FUNERALIA delivers state-of-the-art equipment for pathological institute in Karlsruhe, Germany

FUNERALIA equipped several rooms of the pathological institute in the newly constructed building of a hospital in Karlsruhe, Germany.
For the frozen section analysis, FUNERALIA designed cutting tables with integrated safety cabinet to store acid or lye solutions for the preparation of specimens. The tables are equipped with a ventilation monitoring system to maximise user’s safety. (photo 1)
The room designated for cut ups and macroscopic examinations has been equipped with grossing stations in island positions with integrated supply and disposal system for formalin at the frontside to optimise laboratory workflows. The room features also ventilated specimen cabinets. (photo 2)
The preparation tables include functional details to increase user ergonomics such as height-adjustment via hand crank and a service column with basin. (photo 3)
The lab furniture for the immunohistology section must respect highest hygiene standards. It is fabricated from highly resistant, high-pressure laminate and has an integrated, ventilated stainless-steel work top. (photo 4)
